About Diabetes
Prevention Program
The Diabetes Prevention Program, commonly referred to as DPP, is a year long program that has been proven to prevent or delay the onset of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) in individuals at high risk. This is achieved by providing education on healthy eating, physically activity, and stress management. DPP best suits individuals that have been diagnosed with Prediabetes or those that are at an increased risk of developing the disease due to their family history, age, weight status, and activity level. Find out if you're at risk for T2D by taking the CDC's Risk Test below!
